Passing on the Cookie Jar of Knowledge.

A creative devil never stops questioning. To keep creativity alive it is necessary to research, understand and implement. But more importantly, the fundamental of growth is to propagate knowledge.

This section of The Devil’s Garage contains detailed tutorials that cover subjects like setting up a Flash pipeline for indie animators and game developers to animate characters.

Other software to soon be covered:

  • Toon Boom Animate
  • Game Maker
  • Adobe After Effects

For three consecutive years, Ajay Karat conducted a week-long course in design and animation at Jyoti Nivas College (Bangalore, India). This course complemented the syllabi of the communication and media students. He conducted a workshop on Presentation Tools for the post-graduates and faculty and helped initiate the use of animation in student-created documentaries. At this juncture he was interviewed by Technology Media Group (TMG), a premier national technology channel on better design and layout.

Ajay Karat was also a Flash Tutor at Savannah College of Art and Design (Savannah, Georgia) and worked as an Animation Engineer at Brandissimo!, Inc. (Encino, California) where he helped set the Flash animation pipeline.

A special thanks to all readers for offering future topics to be covered.

Learning never stops if you keep the devil in you awake.
