For three consecutive years, Ajay Karat conducted a week-long course in design and animation at Jyoti Nivas College (Bangalore, India). This course complemented the syllabi of the communication and media students. He conducted a workshop on Presentation Tools for the post-graduates and faculty and helped initiate the use of animation in student-created documentaries. At this juncture he was interviewed by Technology Media Group (TMG), a premier national technology channel on better design and layout.
Ajay Karat was also a Flash Tutor at Savannah College of Art and Design (Savannah, Georgia) and worked as an Animation Engineer at Brandissimo!, Inc. (Encino, California) where he set the Flash animation pipeline.
