• (June 2011) “Good News, Everybody!” Lee Brimelow, the Flash evangelist and award-winning interactive designer has used assets from my walkcycle for his two part tutorial on Sprite Sheets and Blitting. • (June 2011) For the last few weeks, work at the studio has kept me really busy. But, Hey! there’s always time for Reddit. Recently I had come across a section on reddit.com (world’s best news site) where redditors could request for logos for their sub-forums. Taking a break from the hustle and bustle of my daily activities, I decided to pitch a few logos for four subforums (ref here, here) and it looks like a few of them got selected. In exchange for my services, One requester was kind enough to donate some money to Dream a Dream, a children’s charitable foundation in Bangalore (Indian).
• (April 2011) It’s been over a year since the I have been using WordPress. Surprisingly it had taken me a lot longer than usual to migrate to this Content Management System and I cannot be more happier with this move. The site has also undergone some sound optimizing and this build of the Devil’s Garage feels more stabler and flexible, thanks to the team at team over at Hammer Bridge and Web Design People respectively. On the other hand there are still some edits and tweaks to be done to the blog . a bunch of broken links and image resizing, but I’m positive everything will be fixed soon.
If you look closely at the older design, the header actually had an image of good ‘ol Downtown Los Angeles (had taken this snap during a hike out on the Hollwood Hills). I decided to abandon this change for now and once all the content is back, up and running I shall look into that.
