Cranked this out later this evening. Reddit (international-most-awesome-news-site) had a section where redditors can request for logos to be placed on sub-forums created. For this particular request, the sub-reddit /r/Tamil had requested a logo that resembled the language Tamil

Wall Defender MX | Game Development

Wall Defender MX is a pet project in development. It’s a clone of Bomb Software’s 1983 Atari Game by the same name. This game take a bit at the lone spaceman defending his last place in space, defending the dysfunctional dead-space fortress as it drifts though Xorthor territory and other space bandits zones. The Video-cap featured here is a preview of art development of the game.

Game Concept – King Solomon’s Mines

King Solomon’s Mines (KSM) is a game concept based off the book by the very same name. Here one gets to play as the protagonist in search of the fabled treasure of King Solomon. The game concept also draws a lot of influence from God of War 3 that puts a huge emphasis on making the player feel minuscule yet powerful as Kratos (the protagonist) compared to the rest of the world and its elements.

KSM is a side scroller 2D pixel-style game with a multitude of enemies and equal number of special combo moves as the player hacks and slashes his way though the kingdom in search of treasures.

KSM is only a test game and will be made with Stencyl (Flash game maker). Working on this mini project would give me an opportunity to collaborate with other Stencyl behavior programmers and strengthen my knowledge on how to make a solid game with Stencyl.

Reddit Robot

Reddit (the community where new is created), occasionally accepts new logos for their sub-forums. Had created these two logos for the robotics community. The robot is based off the original Reddit Alien logo “Snoo”. The second logo translates well, when the size of the logo is dropped below 50% the original size.

Here are more updates on the art direction of this logo.
