Death of ‘A’
Clock Day is celebrated annually on Newgrounds (one of the oldest Flash-based social media website) in the month of August. The story goes that in the years 2001, an amateur animator named Strawberry Clock had submitted a Flash animation. The animation was a single image of a the letter A. This submission, like most amateur submissions got ‘blammed’ and downvoted into oblivion. Strawberry Clock then submitted another animation which was single image of the letter B. The trolls of newgrounds community spotted this and gave it the highest rating a movie could be voted on and marked that day as Clock Day. The clock crew celebrate Strawberry Clock and Clock Day every year by tarnishing newgrounds.com with a ton of bad animation submission.
Death of A – is a silly short animation by Ajay and personifies the letter A and A‘s bleak, short lived future it faced by the trolling forces that binds newgrounds.
