My Friend the White Gryphon is the biggest “Danny Phantom” fan, ever. A lot of her works on Danny Phantom can be accessed here. This is the flash version of Danny, based off one of her art works.

I got this new project at the department where I work-study as a cartoon Illustrator. The project was to develop a series of cartoons that were to be thrown in throughout the project. This is some of the concept art for the project codenamed “The Tub Thumpers”. It has 4 characters that revolve around the plot. The first Guy is ‘Anxiety Attack’ Kid, forever under the shadow of doubt and thinks he’s a complete Washout. The Second is ‘Mist Rust’ Girl, the one who just does not know how to express herself cause she lacks the confidence arising from suspicion. The 3rd Character is Patito D’zorgo, this incoherent 30+ man is sleepy, most of the time and the 4th Character is Captain. Army Man. He believes that the world is incompatible with him and whose re-activeness is always peaking the meter gauge.

The storyboard class is one of the best that I have gone through. My Professor Jose Luis Silva (Who had recently completed a work called ‘The Paradise Lost’) has these really interesting, brainstorming assignments. And Hell Yeah, I’m enjoying them. This was an assignment where we had to take a passage from anywhere and make a 30 second storyboard. I chose the Final Battle from the Ramayan retold by Dr. CS Shah.

I’m finally in Hollywood,CA and @Titmouse Inc. Working on the heaviest show coming to Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. The show is from Brendon Small, the guy who also did Home Movies. DethKlok is about the worlds most blackest, killer bee, meanest, badass, famous, badasssse, heavy, black metal band, ever! RoKing!

Im not too sure of the release date, But shall update when I receive any dates. Working on Vector Tracing, Color and Tones for Characters, and Layouts so far. Looking forward to learning stuff from Mike Roush, the lead animator on the show and Dik Pose the layout artist at the one man dept!

Update V: Yeah I was right! Chris Prynoski, (One of the BEST Traditional Animator I have ever Met!) had mentioned that Goat is indeed the Fan#1, Awesome

This is one based on my brother Viky.

I believe that the perfect name for any PI. Francisco Varken. I just so love this character’s Surname. After a lot of storyboarding, and model sheets with the previous character. I realised that he has not been designed correctly. Something is really missing from the first character. I made a rough turnaround, and he does not not look good from the other angles. So here is my second try at Francisco. and I believe this is how he should look. Goofy face, the long arms for digging out things, the very large hat to hide him while he turns the underbelly of the mean streets. and the pupil-less eyes. Yeah that’s good..
Step a side Dick Tracy

I have this assignment to do for ‘Storyboard and Previz.’ class, where we were all give three words- an Animal, a Color and a Name. and based off that we are supposed to create a character, write a short story, do all the research based on that genre which most suited that character. So I landed up with a Purple Aardvark whose name is Francisco. And since Aardvarks arr like anteaters, they have long faces, long ears and are nocturnal things that’s roam the streets at night, generally hiding under the street lamp. which means that Francisco obviously wears a cap, well… may be a hat, like a Private Eye, may be he should just be a Private eye, and that film genre is something I want to explore. May be Francisco’s full name is “Francisco Varken!”. Varken meaning Pig in Afrikaans/Deutsch and since he is nocturnal, may be he’s a blind guy. and since he has a BIG back , I think a huge coat will go well on him. So here we have Francisco Varken, PI, works only in the night and is broke like every other PI that ever roamed those streets. But This purple dude has one disadvantage and that is he is BLIND! yeah , Blind as a Varken from any part of the world.

Now every PI needs some kinda side kick, a foil, a fall out guy, an assistant, a pretty lady who is a lot dumber than the him. who is generally the surrogate audience who Varken can talk to as he is solving the crime. Frank can also have a side kick like a cat, that lounges about his office. may be that’s a better plan. keep her in the office.
So far this is all that I developed with respect to the assignment. Let me see how much more can I dig up by tomorrow night.
